I am a computational neuroscientist and cognitive scientist who studies how sensory systems represent information about the outside world by using a combination of computational and psychophysical methods. Of particular interest are questions about how the neural code and the perceptual capabilities of the brain relate to the statistical properties of natural stimuli.
